Actors/models needed for music videos
Young rappers based in Jersey City and surrounding area need actors/models, any ethnicity, to appear in their videos. Shooting will begin in a few weeks. Teen girl needed for short film
Actress, about 16 to 19 years old, any ethnicity, needed for non-speaking role as girlfriend in Columbia thesis short film. The story about a boy and his single mother trying to survive in NYC. Actress must be comfortable flirting, holding hands and kissing actor in park. Non-pay, meals and copy of film provided. Shooting will take place March 12 in Leif Ericson Park, Brooklyn, NYC and will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rain date will be next available shooting day. Will use SAG student contract for SAG members. The Theater Company’s “The Wizard of Oz Sing-A-Long”
The Hoboken-based theater company is looking for children, teens and adults for a show with minimal staging, costumes and choreography. Non-Equity, non-pay. Auditions will be held Mar. 19 and 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at TTC’s Studio C413 in the Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St., Hoboken. No appointments necessary, auditioners will be seen on first come, first serve basis. Performances will be April 26, 27, 28 and 29 in the same location as the auditions. Nimbus Dance Works seeks dancers
Nimbus Dance Works will hold an audition on March 11 at DANY Studios in New York City for two female dancers for their spring season and for future work in the company’s 2012-13 Season. Dancers should have professional experience and excellent modern and ballet technique. Nimbus’ repertory includes work by Artistic Director Samuel Pott as well as works by guest choreographers including Pedro Ruiz, Xiao-xiong Zhang, Randy James, and Korhan Basaran. The company performs bi-annual home seasons in Jersey City, regularly in New York City and on tour. Their spring season includes approximately seven weeks of work including a two-week residency in Vermont in April and rehearsals and performances May 7th through June 23rd. All rehearsals and performances are paid.
Audition day timeline: 11:30 – 12 Registration 12 – 4 Audition (12-1:30 – Contemporary Class; 1:45-4 – repertory). Audition fee is $5. Please send your resume, headshot and performance reel (if available) to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot.
