It’s my big night! My one-woman show “Kookspeak” premieres tonight. I’m nervous — in a good way, though — and last night’s tech rehearsal went really well, so I’m feeling pretty good.
Today The Jersey City Independent ran a story about the festival highlighting me and a few other of the performers. For example, my fellow JCI writer, columnist Lisa Gabby Creery, will show “Fore/closure” on Saturday and Sunday.

If you wanna come see me tonight, I’m performing at 8 pm at Art House Productions, 1 McWilliams Pl., Jersey City, NJ. (It’s on the top floor of the old St. Francis Hospital by Hamilton Park.) I’m also performing Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10:30 pm. Tickets are $6 online and at the door. For kicks, see my video promo for the show, an excerpt from one of my monologues, “Senses.”
