Here are some photos from my show taken by my good friend Khier Casino:
PTL for helping me deliver performances I can be proud of. Also, thanks to the great crew at Art House and my fellow So Low performers.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out and saw Kookspeak. I had over 75 people come out and support me, which was mind-blowing and amazing! Your feedback has inspired me to continue pursuing my passion and getting better at what I do. I got wonderful compliments from many creators and performers I truly respect, and that means so much. I even got some great presents like an Art Social poster from Instigatorzine‘s Narciso Espiritu, and these adorable flowers from my bosses at Sports Illustrated.
Now, I am continuing my journey as an artist and performer. I will also be performing in a couple ways at a couple different places this month.
I will be singing two songs — “Roxie” and “Someone to Watch Over Me” at On Broadway, a night of cabaret featuring some of the greatest musical talents in Hudson County and beyond benefiting the Theater Company in Hoboken. The night will also mark my reunion with “Secrets; Love” star Clarence Ilanan, who has an amazing voice and is a total sweetheart! The event will be held Friday at 8 pm at the Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St., Hoboken.
I will also get to perform one of my monologues at the inaugural Land of the Free-Form Art and Music Festival in Riverview-Fiske Park as part of the Jersey City Artists’ Studio Tour on Saturday, Oct. 13. I will be performing from 3:25 to 3:45p. Woohoo!
