Original Love Song: Let’s Go

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

In time for the holiday, I decided randomly to record a song I wrote some time last summer or fall. It’s called “Let’s Go.”

These are, more or less, the lyrics:

want you to hold me again
look in my eyes a million years
love me again
it feels nice when you are near

’cause baby no matter how far i get
or how many guys i’ve met
you still feel like home to me

and baby even when i’m feeling lost
you lead me back because
i know you still care for me

let’s go, let’s go into the wild again
let’s go, let’s go to the water’s edge
let’s go honeymoon again
i know, i know we’ll feel right again

you make me feel like, ooh ooh, ahh

every day without you feels wrong, but why, i can’t say
i’ll be waiting for you when you realize you’ve always felt the same
