This week has been amazing with even more press coverage for “So What If I Loved You” coming in! This whole week we’ve been in rehearsal perfecting our video and dance components, and this is an incredible reward. On Friday, The Jersey Journal and NJ.com ran Steven Rodas’s interview with me on what inspired the show, its universal appeal and my struggles as an artist and writer. Check it out here!
And then, on top of that, we got the tremendous honor of making The New York Times’ New Jersey theater listings in their Metropolitan section today! I’m so excited! Right now we’re just a blurb below the fold, but this gives me hope that one day we might even be a feature! See the complete theater listings online here.
I’m thrilled, obviously, but being listed in local calendars is a tangible reminder that the play is FEWER THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY. I can’t believe it! I’m nervous, but in a good way, and very excited to share what me and my team have been working six months together on. If you haven’t grabbed your tickets yet, you can do so on Brown Paper Tickets. They’re $12 in advance and $15 at the door, so get them now and save a few bucks!
